Party in the H20

Jen is 'going to the chapel' in 11 days and this past weekend 8 of her gal pals gathered at The Water Park of America for some 'pure' fun! It was a simple weekend to celebrate Jen's single life, how special she is to all of us, and of course...her soon to be married life to Mr. Tonneson. Jen is great... and I wanted this weekend to be fun and to honor who and what she is all about! We checked in Saturday afternoon at 4... and it was a zoo. After a long while of waiting in line just to check in, we got established in our room, than suited up for the water park. It was insane; full of people! But the water was warm, and the rides were fun. We laughed a lot at each other and got tired quick like form all the 'parting in the h20'. We loved the family raft ride, but of course that was the longest line of all rides! A couple of the crazist girls in the group (you can decide who you think they were) decided to switch swim suit bottoms while in the hot tub- crazy right? 2 of the crazist ones did their tops as well!!!!! good pure fun, right? We had tons of food in the room to eat and of course had some games to play. One of which was an arm wrestling contest! Yes- girls arm wrestling. We also had a moak version of American Idol. The girls were judged on how well they sang, their effort and than how much they made us laugh! yeah...i almost peed my pants a couple different times! super funny. i wish i would have video taped it cuz there could have been some funny you tubes made! Overall the party was super fun. I think Jen left with some very NICE and PURE outfits for her married life. (had that puffy painted on a white tank top, and she also got a white zip-sweatshirt and some white sweatpants to hang out in at the water park)And I think we spent a very fun weekend together celebrating single life and friendship. It took a ton of planning on my part (being the maid of honor and all), but it was worth it. When all was over today at 4:00, I took a long and hard 2 hour nap!!! LOVE YA JEN> you blow my mind! i cant wait to see you all dressed up in whilte april 3rd and how fun it will be to see you committ yourself to jay!!! totally God honoring! love it.
