grandma and hymns

i stand amzed in the presence
of Jesus the Nazarene,
And wonder how He could love me,
A sinner, condemned, unlcean

O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
Is my Savior's love for me!

For me it was in the garden
He prayed: "Not My will, but Thine."
He had not tears for His own griefs,
But sweat drops of blood for mine.

O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
Is my Savior's love for me!

In pity angels beheld Him,
And came from the world of lights
To comfort Him in the sorrows
He bore for my soul that night.

O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
Is my Savior's love for me!

He took my sins and my sorrows,
He made them His very own;
He bore the burden to Calvary,
And suffered and died alone.

O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
Is my Savior's love for me!

When with the ransoned in glory
His face I at last shall see,
Twill be my joy through the ages
To sing of His love for me

O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
Is my Savior's love for me!

PS - are you really proud to be a 33 year old virgin or is that just a load of crap to seem righteous?

first, yes...my grandma did die and she loved that hymn. we sang it in church on sunday and it reminded me of her. so back off!
second, yes...i am proud of being a virgin. and no it's not just cuz i want to seem righteous, it because i like doing what God has called me to do (see 1 corinthians 7 in the bible). and yes, pride is a sin, but in this case, it's not a sin- you're just being a jerk.
third- you need to stop commenting. i think your comments are rude and imappropriate. so- stop please.
fourth- if you read my blog like you say you do, than maybe you'd know that God is the love of my life and i love to serve him and him alone. and if you cant handle that and make appropriate comments, than maybe you should stop reading.
thanks-

Hey Joann-
You have lots of blog readers and I just wanted to say that some of us appreciate you for being you. I am sorry to hear of your loss and hope you are feeling better. Some people are just cruel and don't get it but many of us see where you are coming from in terms of the Lord. Keep writing and posting since there are many more good people reading what you have to say than bad.
Good Luck

Joann, I woke up this morning with the words of "your grandmother's song" in my head. I searched all the hymnals in the house trying to find it, so I could fill in the words. Thanks to your website, I found the words I so needed to hear again, and then some. God works in us to reach others and His work lasts forever. It is great to know that we are truly all His children. God Bless you!
